Baglamukhi is the Tantric goddess whose golden light destroys the obstacles that hold us back from recognizing our true nature: the absolute Self.
She is one of the goddesses linked to language and as such she destroys both the inner language that creates, maintains and fuels our separation from the totality and also all the perverse forms of language that tend to devalue beauty, this is why she is often depicted nailing the tongue of a demon with her golden hammer.
