Guilt is the great knot to untie. The Pratyabhijna path sustains that the recognition of the Self, is nothing other than realising that we hold the divine into us, because there is no separation between us and the divine, therefore between us and the totality. However, until we rid ourselves of guilt, this process is impossible.
